Easy In-House Electrical Inspection - Damaged Electrical Outlets
The first thing that I would like to point out here, before you do any electrical inspection in yourself, is to avoid touching any of the electrical system. This is going to be an issue ball home inspection and can usually be done in less than an hour, unless your house is huge.
Like I said, this is going to beat a visual house inspection. Hence the word easy in house electrical inspection. It's not going to be a difficult inspection, it's going to be an easy in house electrical inspection. I hope or on the same page.
You will start your visual inspection of your home electrical system, by going around and inspecting each one of your electrical outlets. Again, you will not be touching any of these electrical outlets, you will be looking for any sort of damage to the electrical plug and switch covers.
If you find any damage, make a list of replacement parts, or contact an electrician, to repair the damage. It doesn't get any simpler than that. This type of electrical inspection can usually be done, in less than an hour.
If you do find any problems, with your visual inspection, you should repair the damage as soon as possible. Don't mess around with your home electrical system, if you don't understand or are familiar with its operation.
